Android Q's system-level dark mode can be used with some third-party applications

You may have heard that earlier versions of Android Q had a system-wide dark mode that can be switched using the new dark mode option in display Settings. Google thinks of people who like to view sites and apps with white words on a black background, and allows Android Q users to turn on "dark mode" all the time. Other options will allow the user to turn off the feature all the time, or automatically in the morning and evening. In this article, we include several examples of Google apps and dark mode third-party applications released by XDA today.

Many Google apps now offer dark mode settings, including YouTube, phone, address book, news, maps, and so on. Some of the reasons behind this feature are that Google's Material Design (many of which now have these features) contains a fairly bright white background that allows users to shine. Another reason is that for AMOLED panels, the black background is a closed pixel, so it doesn't consume battery life.

In fact, Google is taking advantage of the battery-saving possibility to get third-party application developers to provide dark mode for their products. Android users want to see more third-party apps with dark mode. Even better, once the Android Q full-system setting is turned on, fans of the appearance will like to see third-party apps automatically embrace dark mode.
