Sony launches large screen Android Auto/CarPlay receiver

The Android Auto Apple CarPlay is now pre-installed in many new cars, but unless you have these latest models, you may encounter an old proprietary infotainment system.

This is where the Android car kit works in the aftermarket, so you can use the latest Android car on your old car. Sony has just released its latest Android car kit, which can be easily installed on a d in. The new kit uses an 8.95-inch touchscreen to make your driving experience more futuristic. You don't have to worry about it being installed above the dashboard because it floats above the dashboard, so you can adjust the depth and tilt the device at an angle to make it easier to see and set its height.

An important disclaimer: like many Android aftermarket kits, this price is equivalent to about $600.

Remember, Sony just launched the new product now and is expected to go on sale in late December. The name of the new accessories is Sony XAV-AX8000. Yes, Sonny can really find a better name.
