How to share downloaded applications across users on Mac computers

Apple id used to be two different things. One is the purchase account, which is originally associated with the iTunes Music Store; the other is the synchronization / email account, which is associated with mobileme (me.com). Mike (mac.com) and Iklo. Apple combines these two goals, but traditional accounts owned by many people continue to be used together in these different ways in iOS/iPadOS and macOS.

For families that share an Apple computer, you can use family sharing or based on the Apple logo purchased, so that everyone can access the same application (or similar set of applications) on the computer.

The MacOS setting allows you to create multiple accounts, each of which can log in to an apple ID for iCloud synchronization and email, or for apple purchases, or that account can use two separate iCloud and purchase accounts.

If you have not established a family share, you can follow these steps. It is not suitable for everyone, because only six family members are allowed in one account, and there are other restrictions.

However, it also has the advantage that it can reduce the storage cost of iCloud by sharing a storage plan. (our family saved about $10 a month by switching to a 2TB iCloud storage plan.)

Family planning members must set up shared purchases from their accounts. Any application that allows families to share (in most cases) can be purchased in one account and can be used by all other family members. (however, home sharing does not allow sharing of purchases or subscriptions within applications, and many applications have transitioned to this mode.)

In each macOS account, a single Apple ID for a given user is inserted into the iCloud and purchased for two purposes.
