Sony Xperia 10's aspect ratio and chin-free make it one of the most unique smartphones. However, its fairly general specifications and relatively high prices make it difficult to sell. However, for the next generation of Xperia 20, that may change.

According to new rumors, Xperia 20 will bring considerable internal upgrades. Specifically, Sony is said to be replacing the Snapdragon 630 in Xperia 10 with the newer and more powerful Snapdragon 710. As a standard configuration, the new chip will obviously be equipped with a considerable amount of 4GB memory, not just 3GB memory. However, it is said that a more impressive independent variant of 6GB memory is being developed. Depending on the model selected, there will be internal storage space for 64GB or 128GB.

Like its predecessor, the Xperia 20 features a 6-inch display that offers a 21: 9 aspect ratio and full HD (1080 x 2520p) resolution. The smartphone is also expected to be equipped with a selfie snapshot and two rear cameras, all of which can benefit from the upgrade.

The exact resolution of the front camera has not yet been announced, but today's rumors point to the rear 12 million-pixel main camera and auxiliary sensors with the same resolution. Each function is not specified, but by contrast, Xperia 10 is set to 135 million pixels.

The Xperia 20 is likely to make its debut at Sony's annual IFA press conference in Berlin in September. Smartphones are likely to be launched sometime in October, and Android 9 should be loaded directly. Considering Sony's ability to prepare software updates quickly, it should be expected to upgrade to Android 10 Q.
