LG introduces the first UltraGear GP9 gaming slightly, expanding the UltraGaming product line into a new category. It has 3D game audio technology, game genre optimizer, 7.1 virtual surround, built-in microphone, high-resolution audio authentication and more.

UltraGear GP9 uses LG's 3D Gaming Sound technology and a specially designed HRTF(Head Related Transfer Function) algorithm to customize game audio according to genre. With its Game Genre Optimizer, users can switch between--FPS(First Person Shooting) mode and RTS(Real-Time Strategy) mode with DTS Headphone:X support.

The GP9 has an ES9038PRO Hi-Fi quad DAC inside that provides balanced sound and noise reduction, and the speakers are Hi-Res Audio certified. Another feature of the speakers is the built-in microphone, which uses echo-cancellation voice chat technology to allow users to communicate without headphones during games. It has top-mounted control buttons, customizable RGB lighting and various inputs including USB-C, auxiliary, optical and Bluetooth. The built-in battery has a rated battery life of 5 hours in single use.

UltraGear GP9 game slightly will be available in South Korea, the United States and some European markets from September for 549,000 won (about 34539 rupees/471 US dollars).
