Introduction to VMware App Volumes
VMware App Volumes provides a system for delivering applications to the desktop through virtual disks. The application is bundled in AppStack and delivered by attaching standard VMDK files to the virtual machine. You can use App Volumes Manager to centrally manage applications without modifying the desktop or individual applications. Using the application appearance provided by App Volumes, you can update or replace the application in real time.
All applications are configured during login, and App Volumes users have a persistent user experience, and they can install their own applications and keep them unchanged in the session.
