The release of MIUI 12 may take place next week. The release schedule is also said to have been leaked.

Xiaomi released MIUI 11 a few months ago, and now reports of the company's next iterative version of Android skin, MIUI 12, are popping up. The latest leaks include a so-called release schedule, and a new report suggests that development should begin. Next week at the earliest.

According to the information released by the Mi community entitled "official and updated schedule of MIUI 12" (now deleted), the first private Beta version of MIUI 12 will be released in September, and then the Beta version will be available from October. Finally, the stable version is expected to begin in December. It is important to note, however, that this information is published by a profile labeled "miImpactor". So it is strongly recommended that you digest the release schedule of MIUI 12 with a small amount of salt.

On the other hand, the change log for the latest MIUI test development version mentions important things to be announced next week. Currently, when Chinese users search for participation in the Beta project on MIUI's official website, they mention "MIUI 12" in the "I can't find it" error dialog, indicating that the important announcement planned for next week will indeed be helpful to MIUI 12. Unlike the above update schedule, we will get more official information directly from Xiaomi itself.

According to previous rumors, MIUI 12 is expected to bring more features, such as a more detailed system-wide dark mode, a new GUI, and support for 1633609 aspect ratio displays.
