Wyze's AI technician detection function will disappear temporarily next year.
Huize's security camera will temporarily lose its personnel detection function in January 2020 after its AI starts to abruptly terminate the agreement. After the forum, Wyze said its agreement with Xnor.ai included a clause allowing the contract to be terminated "at any time for no reason".
Although Waize admitted that he had made a "mistake", he said that the loss of personnel detection function should be temporary. The company said it plans to launch its own in-house technology next year, but will still provide it to users free of charge. In July, Wyze added personnel detection to its Wyze Cam V2 and Wyze Cam Pan for the first time.
Wyze cameras always have the advantage of low price. The entry-level camera costs only $20, while the Nest sells for $199. However, Wyze lost its testing capabilities less than a year after its first launch, and this month temporarily delayed the launch of its subscription service, which shows that the low price of Wyze is risky.
