Panos Panay confirmed the news at an event in Berlin, Germany. Panos Panay, chief product officer of Microsoft, recently held a press conference in Berlin, Germany, revealing that the upcoming Surface Duo will be equipped with "world-class" cameras.

Microsoft unveiled Surface Duo at the fall 2019 Surface event, showing off a dual-screen Android smartphone separated by hinges.

Apart from discussing two side-by-side 5.6-inch displays and 8.3-inch extended screen space, it is too early to discuss most of the device's specifications, but little is known about the device.

Duo is expected to be launched during the 2020 holiday. The "world-class" camera is expected to compete with 2o2o iPhone, Pixel and Huawei phones.
