As the size of the network increases, we will use the routing and remote access feature of the Windows server operating system to divide the network into different subnets. How to provide services between two subnets at the same time through one DHCP server? At this point, we need to use the relay agent function of the DHCP server to provide DHCP services between the two subnets at the same time.

Install DHCP on the first server,

And configure two scopes

The gateway of the DHCP points to the relay agent

Next, configure the relay agent, install the remote network policy and access service

Next, select the routing and remote access service

Next, start the installation

Administrative tools open, routing and remote access, right-click configuration

Select Custom, next step

Select LAN rout

Next step, complete, start the service

Right-click on IPV4 to add a new routing protocol

Select DHCP Relay Agent

Click the DHCP relay agent, right-click, and add new interface

Select the network card you added, and make sure it is complete.

To let the server know who the relay is for, point to the DHCP server
