Twitter tests new response notifications for specific tweets
Twitter is currently experimenting with new features for iOS and Android users so they can receive notifications to reply to personal tweets. In fact, Twitter mobile apps can ping you with reminders of all tweets posted to your personal account, but the new features in the test add extra fine-grained control by notifying you only of your responses to specific tweets.
This option is designed to make the development of conversations related to specific tweets more direct, because it can be difficult if you don't follow the original poster.
You may have received the notice and you must abide by it. Now, when you have a new reply to the tweet you are interested in, you can be notified! We are now testing it on iOS and Android. Pic.twitter.com/MabdFoItxc

The move comes after social media platforms recently tried or launched other features, all aimed at handing over more control to users and creating "healthier services" by reducing abuse and harassment.
They include a pause button to temporarily mute notifications from the application and a hidden reply feature that allows users to collapse responses to their tweets. The latter is designed to allow users to ease the conversation by keeping the topic of the conversation and hiding trolls if necessary.
