Office 2016: how do I fill in Card ID information in Excel?
By default, the format type of cells in Excel is Generate. If the format type in the Excel template is not set properly when HR or other business personnel collect information, it will cause some trouble to users.
The Card ID cell in the picture is in General format, causing the user to enter Card ID and display the result as shown in the figure. If the cell is more than 11 characters, it will show that the digit plus 1 after the "+" sign is the "number of digits" of the input number, so how can you display Card ID correctly?
Solution: before entering Card ID, set the cell and select the text format.
Specific operation steps:
Select the cell, right-click on the toolbar, click "Clear Contents" to clear the cell contents, as shown in the following figure:
Select the cell corresponding to Card ID, and click "Text" in the format bar, as shown in the following figure:
Enter Card ID again, and there will be a green triangle symbol in the upper left corner of the cell, which is displayed normally, as shown in the following figure:
Please note: the setting of the cell must be set before entering Card ID, otherwise the Card ID display still does not take effect.
For non-business people, a proper grasp of the basic settings related to Excel is very helpful to their daily work.
