Manually add tabs to the directory (solve the problem that there is no dashed line before the page number in the directory)
It is sometimes necessary to manually add some directory options outside the title in the directory of the document, or to modify the directory that has been generated. At this point, you can use tabs to generate directories manually, such as changing the directory without tabs in figure 1 below to a directory format with tabs. The operation steps are as follows:
(1) move the cursor in front of "16" in input document 16.
(2) Click the format menu, select the Tab stop option in the drop-down menu, and pop up the Tab stop dialog box.
(3) enter the number of characters of the tab stop in the Tab position input box, such as 39 characters, or 16.88 characters, depending on the center of the current document.
(4) Click the [set] button to set the tab stop characters.
(5) Select the check box for right alignment in the options under alignment.
(6) in the options below [leader], select the same tab as the existing tab, usually selecting "2" or "5".
(7) Click [OK] button.
(8) press the Tab key on the keyboard to set the tabs.
