Qualcomm Qualcomm Express 3 promises to increase charging speed by 35%

Qualcomm has introduced a new faster charging technology called Fast charging 3. The new standard makes it possible to provide faster charging at lower prices.

Qualcomm 765 and Snapdragon 765G are the first chips with Quick Charge 3 capabilities, and there will be more Snapdragon platforms in 2020. Qualcomm says the fast charge 3 can be recharged from 0% to 50% in 15 minutes. Compared with the previous generation, the speed is increased by 35%, and the cooler is reduced by 9 degrees Celsius.

Quick Charge 3 will support industry standard USB type to c type and will be backward compatible with previous generation Quick Charge devices. So far, it is well known that Xiaomi's Mi 10 Lite Zoom will adopt new charging technology, and it is expected that more mid-range phones will be equipped with Quick Charge 3 by the end of 2020.
