Apple Maps looks around and extends to Boston, Philadelphia and Washington.

Apple Maps continues to get better.
Look around and now you can use it in more places.
Features like Street View enable users to view 3D images of locations.
According to MacRumors, Apple has provided a "look around" function for its new location. This feature is now available in Boston, Philadelphia and Washington via Apple Maps.
"look around" is Apple's competitor in Google Street View, offering many of the same features. It has been launched in the San Francisco Bay area, Los Angeles, New York City, Las Vegas, Houston and Oahu, Hawaii.
Users who use the "look around" function to view the map will see binoculars in the upper right corner of the screen. They can then click it to enable look, Pan, and move.
Although Google has played a big role in this feature, looking around in many ways is a better experience than using Google Street View. The graphics used are of extremely high resolution.
Unfortunately, Apple does want to extend this feature elsewhere, although it does want to use it everywhere as soon as possible. After the promotion, Apple is still promoting its improved Apple Map around the world.
