Debug HACMP Command reference

In order to test, you may need to suspend the monitoring function of HACMP, or perform similar operations without stopping HACMP. HACMP5.2 has provided similar functions, which can be used in both computers.

Online activates the running resource group.

# smitty hacmp

Select "System Management (C-SPOC) > HACMP Resource Group and Application Management > Bring a Resource Group Online".

Offline stops running the resource group.

# smitty hacmp

Select "System Management (C-SPOC) > HACMP Resource Group and Application Management > Bring a Resource Group Offline".

Move switches the resource group to another node.

# smitty hacmp

Select "System Management (C-SPOC) > HACMP Resource Group and Application Management > Move a Resource Group to Another Node".

For a single resource group, it is equivalent to the so-called dual-machine spontaneous handover, which is equivalent to the switchflag function.

Suspend/Resume suspends / resumes application monitoring.

# smitty hacmp

Select "System Management (C-SPOC) > HACMP Resource Group and Application Management > Move a Resource Group to Another Node > Suspend/ Resume Application Monitoring".

For the system, it is equivalent to haltflag function.

Analysis application availability.

# smitty hacmp

Select "System Management (C-SPOC) > HACMP Resource Group and Application Management > Application Availability Analysis".

This feature is used to see if there is a problem with the application after a period of time.

Backup restores the HACMP configuration.

Back up the HACMP configuration

# smitty hacmp

Select "Extended Configuration > Snapshot Configuration > Add a Cluster Snapshot".

Enter the file name after the backup in the "Cluster Snapshot Name" field, enter the backup description in the "Cluster Snapshot Description" field, and press "Enter".

Restore HACMP configuration

# smitty hacmp

Select "Extended Configuration > Snapshot Configuration > Apply a Cluster Snapshot".

Select the name of the file to be restored, confirm the description of the file at the time of backup, and press "Enter".
