The steps are as follows:

1. Software download and installation

# apt-get install nfs-kernel-servernfs-common portmap

two。 Create the nfs directory and extract the file system (take the rootfs.tar.bz2 file system as an example, the current directory is the root directory)

# mkdir nfs_rootfs

# tar-xvf rootfs.tar.bz2-C / nfs_rootfs/

3. Modify the configuration file

# vim / etc/exports

Add the following configuration to the file:

/ nfs_rootfs * (rw,sync,no_root_squash)

4. Restart configuration files and services

# exportfs-rv

# / etc/init.d/portmap restart

# / etc/init.d/nfs-kernel-server restart

5. Verify the nfs server. After executing the following command, check the / mnt directory and you will see the file system you just extracted.

# mount-t nfs-o nolock

192.168.2.51:/nfs_rootfs / mnt Note: 192.168.2.51 is the NFS server host IP

# ls / mnt/

Description: the mount command can be executed on another Linux system.

In this way, the NFS server is successfully built under ubuntn.
