Apple is trying to make the newly acquired Shazam popular with fans and music lovers. The Cupertino-based company now offers a six-month trial period for all new Apple Music users, but the redemption process is through the Shazam app.

Between now and Cyber Monday, if you've never subscribed to Apple Music, you'll get six months of free service. If you drop your subscription for some reason, you'll still be eligible for this deal, except you'll get three months of free Apple Music instead of six months when you re-subscribe.

To redeem the Black Friday offer, you need to download the Shazam app on your iOS device via the App Store. Then, simply open the Shazam app, go to Library, and a pop-up window with "Limited Time Offer" will appear in the "Recent Shazam" column. According to Apple (via MacWorld), Apple Music promotion is only available to iOS users in the following regions: December 2: Canada, UK.
