NTP time synchronization configuration

1 modify the registry on the 2008DC computer (NTP server).

(1) modify hkey_local_machine\ system\ currentCnotrolSet\ services\ w32time\ parameters, and change the value of type to NTP

(2) modify hkey_local_machine\ system\ currentCnotrolSet\ services\ w32time\ config and change the announceFlags value to 5

(3) Modification

Hkey_local_machine\ system\ currentCnotrolSet\ services\ w32time\ TimeProviders\ NtpServer, change the Enabled value to 1

(4) restart windows time service

(5) turn off the firewall.

2 configure Esxi as the client of NTP

192.168.10.252 is the IP address of the NTP server

three. Configuration of Esxi host

(1) start the command line of the exsi host

(2) use Alt+F1 to switch to the character terminal

(3) use vi / etc/ntp.conf to modify the file and add a line to it

Tos maxdist 30

(4) permission to modify files

Chmod + w / etc/likewise/lsassd.conf

(5) modify the file vi / etc/likewise/lsassd.conf

Find the sync-system-time=no line and remove #.

(6) execution document

/ sbin/auto-backup.sh

/ etc/init.d/lsassd restart

/ etc/init.d/ntpd restart

4 on the vcenter service, log in to web client again to see if the time is synchronized with the ntp server.
