Apple today announced the launch of the new Apple Watch series 5. Since the launch of Apple Watch, it has given many people what they want: a display that is always online. In addition to the new screen, the 5-Series also added titanium alloy surface treatment options and ceramic options for previous models, but they disappeared from last year's 4-Series.

In addition to the new regular bright screen and optional surface finish, the Series 5 or Series 4 Death Ringer is the same size, 40 mm and 44 mm, respectively, the same size circular screen and the same digital crown, which can measure EKG readings.

Of course, being able to see the time all the time without having to make complex arm postures is a big deal, which ultimately makes the Apple Watch a competent timepiece. It works as you would expect: when you lift your wrist, you can always see that the whole surface has darker brightness and full brightness. The surface can even display all complex functions and data in always-online mode.

You can also put your hand on the dial and dim it immediately, which is what I've been doing. Series 5 is more satisfying than the previous model because it changes the mode instead of turning off the screen.

The compass mode also left a deep impression on me, although some models here are relatively rough in terms of hands-on. When it works, it has a very concise function, like a "confidence cone", which shows how accurate Watch thinks its direction reading is. The cone shrinks as it becomes more accurate, and it can be used in compass apps and Apple Maps.

There are many different types of finishes: aluminum, two kinds of titanium, steel and ceramics. I won't spend extra money on all these finishes, so fortunately, the matte effect of the basic aluminum alloy model looks good.
