ESTV launches Samsung TV Plus to bring 24-7 linear e-sports content
This week, the company announced that ESTV is the first dedicated e-sports channel in history and will be launched on Samsung TV's Plus. ESTV is incorporating e-sports content into Samsung's advertising support platform, which should be available on all smart TVs launched by the company in 2016 and beyond.

ESTV is the first channel dedicated to e-sports, allowing viewers to access a variety of game-related content, from game news and competitive game team analysis to late-night joint talk shows, live events and interviews.
Samsung Plus seems to be a good fit for ESTV, not only because it is a free platform supported by advertising, but also because Samsung meets the needs of the game audience to some extent, releasing game displays for casual and competitive players. At the same time, in terms of mobile, Samsung provides functions such as PlayGalaxy Link and Discord integrated with Game Launcher, so Samsung is no stranger to the concept of e-sports.
ESTV, which was released in early May, is a 24-7 live linear channel. It is available on multiple platforms, but it is still proprietary at the time of this writing.
