Gopal Vittal, general manager of Airtel, said the company will launch VoLTE technology in major markets and cities in the next 12 to 18 months. This will make the Airtel network a proof of the future. At the same time, experts say that if Airtel starts the VoLTE service, it will surpass Reliance Jio.

Let us tell you that last November, Airtel partnered with Nokia to provide VoLTE services nationwide. The deal between Nokia and Airtel is worth $60 million, or about 4.2 billion rupees. Previously, Airtel was in sync with Nokia, which offered 4G services in nine circles at a price of $230 million.
