Gap notifications for MIUI applications allow you to keep icons on gap devices

In addition to their unattractive gaps, one of the problems with the new Xiaomi device is that even if you don't turn it off, the notification icon seems to disappear. For those who don't check their phones often and rely on icons to tell them if they have important hints, this is not good. When Xiaomi tries to solve this problem, a new application called Notch Notifications for MIUI may be your temporary solution.

There is a problem with the notification icon of new mobile phones such as Hongmi Note 7 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 9. The notification appears only a few seconds after the upper-left corner of the device, and disappears even if you do not take any action, such as closing or reading. It's still in the notification panel, but you won't see the icon, so you won't know you have new information or email unless you turn on your phone.

Before Xiaomi actually dealt with it, Notch Notification did a temporary fix. After installation, give it the required permissions, and then fill the X and Y axes according to the phone's DPI settings. You can also select the size of the icon to display. After that, the notification icon should remain in this location until you close or clear it.

Of course, this is only a temporary solution, but also has some limitations. For example, the icon cannot be displayed on the device's lock screen, so you still need to unlock your phone to see the notification. You must also lock the device in memory so that it is not included when cleaning up the application.
