What kind of cloud storage is better?

What kind of cloud storage is better? In view of this problem, this article introduces the corresponding analysis and answers in detail, hoping to help more partners who want to solve this problem to find a more simple and feasible way.

In the data storage service, it is done well, it is similar to the mobile hard disk and can be mounted to any server in the same cluster. When the server disk is insufficient, you can activate the cloud disk to store data.

For the CVM storage service, you can use cloud disk copy to transfer data in the same cluster. Here are some common consulting questions about cloud storage.

1. What is the maximum size of the cloud disk? How many cloud disks can be mounted on a CVM?

The maximum size of each cloud disk is 4T, and a maximum of 10 cloud disks can be mounted on each CVM.

two。 Whether the cloud disk supports capacity expansion

Later expansion is supported. After capacity expansion, mount to a CVM to expand capacity. Note that if the disk size exceeds 2T, you need to use GPT partition.

3. Common uses of cloud disks

For data transfer, you can use a cloud disk as a transfer disk; for backing up data, you can use a cloud disk to back up general data; for big data storage requirements, the cloud disk supports a maximum of 4T; for temporary backup disks, important data can be temporarily backed up to the cloud disk if poisoning requires no data reinstallation. It is an important guarantee of cloud security platform.

4. Does the cloud disk have SSD and cluster mode?

The cloud disk is only in cluster mode, and three copies of data are written at the same time, so the disk read and write operation is slower than the default disk of the CVM.
