Minix's NEO storage Pro 480GB is released today on Indiegoo. It is a four-in-one portable storage hub designed for Apple's MacBook Air and Pro. As the name implies, it has a built-in SSD for 480GB. Is this a good choice for any MacBook user there?

Minix's NEO Storage Pro 480GB hub is an elegant streamlined design that plugs directly into the two thunderbolt 3 ports on the side of the MacBook Air or Pro. It provides a lightning 3 port (support for charging), a USB 3.0 port and a HDMI (4K @ 60Hz) port.

There is an M.2 480GB SATA SSD inside the hub, and the read and write speed of its 400MB/s will not explode globally because of performance. There is no indication that the drive is located inside the NEO Storage Pro, but through CrystalDiskInfo and more research, the firmware version we obtained seems to point to some kind of Apacer drive.

Minix has a 3-year warranty and supports NEO Storage Pro.
