Some people think this change is meant to represent MIUI 13.5 as a minor update between MIUI 13 and MIUI 14, while others think it's just a design choice.

MIUI 13.5 's new logo is more stylish and modern, with streamlined shapes that better represent MIUI 13.5 's user interface. The number "1" in MIUI 13 's new Logo has been refined and elongated. The number "3" has also been redesigned to resemble "3" and "5." This represents MIUI 13.5.

In addition, the MIUI 13.5 Logo has a different color than MIUI 13. The earlier MIUI 13 Logo had more pink, yellow and orange colors, while the new Logo uses a purple and blue color scheme similar to the MIUI 11 Logo.
