New options will be available via the Translate prompt on the Translate home page. After selecting this option, you can start a call in the app and even play audio on your laptop and have your phone listen. You can also customize things like text size and dark theme options. You can also pause the transcription in order so that the child's screams don't become part of the Russian lesson you're translating.
Google Translate's real-time transcription is currently rolling out on Android devices, and all users should have the feature by the end of the week. IOS users will eventually get the same features, but Google did not provide a specific release date. Currently only English, French, German, Hindi, Portugal, Russian, Spanish and Thai are supported.
