Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Flip as its second collapsible smartphone. Now, the Korean giant is about to launch the same new 5G version in the near future.

It is reported that Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G will be released together with Galaxy Note20 series flagship smartphones and the next generation of Galaxy Fold 2 smartphones. Although the company has not yet confirmed the existence of the smartphone, it has been found to have received Bluetooth SIG certification.

Meanwhile, key specifications of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G have been leaked online through Weibo. It is reported that the phone will carry Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC with a clock rate of 3.09GHz

Previously, the Geekbench list showed that the phone would be equipped with a SD865 chipset. It is worth noting that the original Galaxy Z Flip carries Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, so it makes sense for 5G models to be equipped with SD865 Plus chipsets.

In addition, the phone has a 6.5in AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2636 x 1080 pixels. In the camera section, the back of the smartphone will be equipped with dual cameras, including a 12MP primary sensor and an 10MP auxiliary sensor. On the front, it will be equipped with a 12MP snapshot program for selfies and video calls.

It will be powered by dual batteries and can hold 2500 Ma battery and 704 Ma battery. The phone will support 15W fast charging technology. The Samsung Unpacked event is likely to take place on Aug. 5, and we can see the device debut at the same event. However, we will have to wait a few weeks for confirmation.
