1-1 prerequisites for deploying domain control

Appropriate DNS domain name, such as contoso.com

DNS server that supports AD DS

The storage location of AD database, SYSVOL must be stored on NTFS disk

2-1 install Windows Server 2012 R2 server

2-1-1 facilitates future management and maintenance, changing computer names, such as SH-PDC

2-1-2 set the IP address (depending on the actual network environment)

2-2 install Active Directory Domain Services

2-2-1 Open Server Management and click add roles and functions

2-2-2 next step

2-2-3 installation type default role-based or feature-based installation, next step

2-2-4 Select the target server, next step

2-2-5 check Active Directory Domain Services and click add function

2-2-6 Click next

2-2-7 Click next

2-2-8 Click next

2-2-9 confirm installation

2-2-10 wait for installation to complete

2-2-11 installation is complete, click to promote this server to a domain controller

2-2-12 Select add new forest and enter the root domain name, for example, ge.com;, click next.

2-2-13 enter the directory service restore password and click next

2-2-14 ignore the warning interface, click next

2-2-15 NetBIOS domain name, click next

2-2-16 set the storage path for database, log and sysvol, next step

2-2-17 next step

2-2-18 Click to install and the system will restart automatically

2-2-19 after restarting the system, the domain name is added before the user name, and the domain controller is installed.

2-2-20 domain services, DNS has been installed

2-2-21 installation is complete.
