Chromeos proxy settings (Chrome OS now supports Netflix's picture-in-picture and environment equalizer)

What you need to know is:

Google will launch two new Chrome operating system features this month.

The operating system now supports environmental equalizers, allowing adaptive displays to adjust color temperature and white balance according to the environment.

Netfly's picture-in-picture mode is now also available on Chromebook through Android apps.

Google announced two new features for Chrome OS users this month. Well, one of them is ready for all users, and the first one is controlled by the hardware you are using and will not actually be released this month.

The first is the environmental equalizer. Environment EQ is a display function that can adjust the appearance of the display according to the environment. Pixel 4 and 4 XL users as well as Nest Hub users may be familiar because Google already provides environmental EQ support for these displays.

Alexander Kuschel, software director of Google Chrome OS, wrote:

According to sn, with the environment, the EQ,Chromebook screen can adapt to any environment, whether it's working outdoors on a sunny day or watching a movie under a blanket. Environment EQ can naturally adjust the white balance and color temperature of the Chromebook screen according to the surrounding environment, thus making the content on the screen look more natural. The screen automatically adjusts to make your eyes look easier.

The second function is universal. Netflix's PiP mode is now available on Chromebook through Android apps. You don't need any configuration, just start Netflix, play the latest episode of anything you're interested in, and switch applications to continue to improve your productivity.

While the Netflix PiP update will be available immediately, the Environmental EQ will first be available on the dazzling red Samsung Galaxy Chromebook and may be available on the advanced Chromebook, which will be launched later this year.
