A new member named Alder Lake-N is coming soon.
Intel's Alder Lake line is clearly still growing, and the latest leaks suggest that a new member called Alder Lake-N is coming. This should be the most basic SKU in AlderLakeCPU, because it has only a "small" Gracemont core and no Golden Cove core at all, unlike all other sibling products.
But oddly enough, the processors themselves don't even provide any PCIe channels except for the ones that are interconnected with the chipset.
So Alder Lake-N may be some kind of embedded component, because it is said that Alder Lake-N has up to eight cores. Due to the limitations of the PCIe lines mentioned earlier, only a total of 9 lines will be available, which may make it less attractive to embedded systems, especially if it requires a separate chipset.
The Alder Lake-N chip also comes with a full GT1 Gen 12.2 GPU and 32 EUs, so the graphics performance should be comparable to that of the Alder Lake-S desktop widget, although the GPU clock will be much lower.
