Microsoft will phase out every new update to the Microsoft Windows Control Panel
According to windowslatest.com, Microsoft seems to have recently released some updates to remove features from the Windows control panel. Having said that, Microsoft probably plans to remove the control panel altogether and adjust the settings on Windows computers in a more modern way.
If users try to access the control panel for some reason, they will be redirected to the "about" page, which is particularly confusing for users who are used to adjusting Windows PC through the control panel. So far, there is no official information on when Microsoft plans to completely phase out the Windows control panel.
