Openfilter installation configuration

Click next

When you come out and click yes, you should be prompted five times (because there are five hard drives in total, because we added four hard drives in the previous article, a total of five, so it will pop up five times)

Just choose the default, and then click next

Click edit to establish the IP address

When you are done, a prompt will pop up because you have not set up the gateway and DNS, because you do not need the gateway and DNS, so click continue.

Just click next.

Then you need to set the password and enter the password you set again.

Click next again to enter the installation interface and wait a few minutes for the installation.

Then go to the login screen: there is nothing wrong with your installation.

Set up the openfilter:

Enter the URL of GUI to enter the settings interface

First create a physical volume:

Click volumes and click the red part in the middle to set it.

The following list appears

Click / dev/sdb to show the following scenario, then select physical volume, and then click create to create a physical volume.

The following figure shows that the creation is successful, and the creation process needs to wait a few seconds.

Create a volume group:

Click Volume Groups first

Go in as shown below: then create the name of a volume group. Below are the physical volumes that can be selected, and then click add volume group.

The following figure shows that the volume group has been created.

Then create a logical volume: fill in the name, size, and file type of the logical volume. Select block (iscsi,fc,etc) for this type, and then click create, but wait a few seconds.

ISCSI Target service needs to be enabled

Click Volumes first

Then click ISCSI Targets

And add ISCSI Target

Just create it in this mode.

Then search the win 10 computer for the ISCSI initiator

Just click on the quick connection.

The newly built disk is not formatted. We need to right-click my computer to open management, click disk management, and refresh it.

After formatting

To create a new simple volume:

Just click finish.

And then it was built.
