Google Play Store starts offering free Android apps every week
Unfortunately, this feature is currently only available in the United States, but we hope that Google will make this new feature available globally as soon as possible. The first free app is card wars Adventure time, a game based on the Cartoon Adventure time program.
The app usually costs $2.99, but Google will offer it for free for a limited time. The game can also be bought on iOS for $3.99. This is not the first time Google has offered such a deal. The tech giant launched a similar weekly promotion as early as 2015, but later decided to oppose it.
Google is not the only app store that offers free apps every week. Apple has made a similar promotion in its App Store, giving iOS users free access to the "free iOS app this week".
This week's free iOS app is a camera and editing app called Musemage, which usually sells for $3.99, but users don't have to pay if they download it this week. Apple offers productivity and gaming apps for free every week, and we hope Google will do the same.
To be honest, Play Store offers a lot of free and paid app alternatives that users can view, but this mainly applies to productivity products. For games, for those who do not want to use credit cards when downloading applications, there is no other choice.
Google recently introduced a new feature that allows developers to sell paid apps or offer them for free for a limited time. In addition, the tech giant has launched playable ads for Android games and game store updates.
