After installing openSuSE 10.3 today, there is no sound. I checked the system and it seems to recognize my sound card 82801DB/DBL/DBM (ICH4/ICH4-L/ICH4-M) AC'97 Audio Controller kernel driver snd_intel8x0 and the "Sound" column in the control panel looks normal (No gray invalid content), the volume is also displayed as 87%, but there is no sound, press the "test sound" button and there is no sound, when playing MP3 files, MPlayer shows that it is playing, the playback progress bar also keeps going, but there is no sound! The whole computer seemed to have a broken stereo, but everything worked fine under Windows.

Tu vas dans YaST -> Logiciels -> Software Repositories -> Ajouter Repository Name : alsa Protocole : HTTP Nom du serveur : download.opensuse.org Répertoire sur le serveur : repositories/multimedia:/audio/openSUSE_10.3/ Après tu restes dans YaST et dans : Installer et supprimer des logiciels tu filtres avec alsa et là tu mets à jours ce qui peut l'être et tu vérifies que tu as au moins les paquets suivants: alsa alsa-driver-kmp-default alsa-firmware alsa-plugins alsa-utils

openSUSE Sound Issue ati Graphics Driver:

nom ati type: http serveur : www2.ati.com répertoire: suse/10.3

openSUSE Sound Issue nvidia Graphics Driver:

nom nvidia type: http serveur : download.nvidia.com répertoire: opensuse/10.3
