Last June, Google announced that Google Photos's storage space would be limited. If you remember, its unlimited storage option ended on June 1. This disappoints many fans of Android and iPhone. Now, there is an option to retrieve it. But not everything is as simple as you think.

T-Mobile + Google Photo

For years, Google has been recommending a variety of companies and individuals who handle a large number of photos to choose its service. Unfortunately, as mentioned above, it all ended on June 1, 2021. Now, Google is restoring the opportunity to have unlimited storage space on its servers. To do this, the user should make a special transaction with T-Mobile. (so this applies only to US users.)

Earlier today, 9To5Google shared a new Google One subscription option on T-Mobile 's website. This is not surprising, however, because there is a long-standing partnership between Google's service and T-Mobile. In particular, users have access to Google's various cloud-based products when purchasing the T-Mobile program. For example, in the past, T-Mobile specifically provided 500GB's Google One plan. For T-Mobile customers, the price is only $5 a month.

But the new T-Mobile plan looks more interesting. In addition to the $5 plan to provide 500GB storage space and the $10 plan to provide 2TG storage space, T-Mobile users will soon be able to get unlimited Google Photos storage space for $15 a month.

What users should know is that both T-Mobile and Google allow subscribers to save photos at full resolution. This is important because until then, Google had only provided "high-quality" resolution for its unlimited Google photo storage service. So, through this move, Google will restore its original services previously provided by its early Pixel phones.
