Samsung may be working on new Windows laptops. An image purporting to be the Galaxy Book S was shared Friday by reporters and oft-tweeted Evan Brass, showing a slim laptop with only a few ports. The pictures also show their keyboards and trackpads greyish purple.

The laptop has a USB Type-C port on the left edge and a camera on the top edge of the monitor. The image doesn't reveal much else, and we can't see the top of the device.

Samsung's previous Galaxy Book device, the Galaxy Book2, is a detachable 2-in-1 computer, unlike Microsoft's Surface Pro. The $1000 device comes with a backlit keyboard cover and S Pen. Samsung also has a laptop line. The Notebook 9 Pro, released earlier this year, also falls into the category of ultraportable 2-in-1, although its keyboard folds flat rather than separate.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is scheduled to be unveiled Wednesday at the Unpacked event in New York. Maybe we'll see a new laptop too.
