Samsung releases new foldable models every year and applies for new patents in the final design.
It is said that Samsung will provide a glimpse of its collapsible phones at tomorrow's Samsung developer Day conference in Seoul, which is held once a year. Why once a year?
Well, DJ Koh, head of Samsung's mobile business, recently explained the company's plans for the future, saying that the unit's fate will be much better next year than it is now, thanks to the Galaxy S10 trio and the collapsible Galaxy F series or other products.
The f-series will obviously remain, because DJ Koh once said that Samsung will have a new collapsible model every year from now on, and even applied for a patent for the possible design of the phone, because it allows us to choose the prototype of the device and make its debut at the San Francisco Development Fair.
The patented design discovered by LetsGoDigital has a folded model of an external display that can occupy the entire front or only half of the front when the device is turned off. Obviously, they can also be divided into two parts, or they can be tilted toward one of the edges of the phone to seamlessly transition to a larger internal display. As for what "holographic device" and "projector" should mean in the folded phone diagram below, no one cares yet.
