Canon launches EOS R5 C 8K Movie camera with active cooling system

Canon has launched a new hybrid movie camera that combines professional video capabilities with a full-frame mirrorless fuselage with an active cooling system.

The EOS R5C is a movie camera that can shoot 8K material at speeds up to 60fps. In addition, due to its new active cooling system, it will not encounter any overheating problems. This means that the EOS R5 can shoot "indefinitely" at 8K and 60fps.

As a hybrid camera, the EOS R5 can also take still photos. It will have almost the same performance as the standard R5, with a 45 megapixel, 12 fps mechanical shutter or 20 fps electronic shutter. However, it does not have any internal stability.

The EOS R5C also features a 3.2-inch flip LCD monitor and a 5.76 million-point viewfinder. It is equipped with double SD card slot, animal eye detection, vehicle detection, accessories multi-function shoes, time code terminal for multi-camera shooting and other functions.
