MediaTek 5G chipset may be launched in the first quarter of 2020.
According to a statement from MediaTek CEO Tsai, MediaTek's 5G chipset is likely to be launched in the first quarter of 2020. We can expect that smartphones released around January 2020 and March 2020 will be equipped with such chipsets. But that's not all. MediaTek also announced that it will also launch a 5G chipset for mid-and low-end smartphones.
So far, there is no official information on the release date in Malaysia and the local official pricing of smartphones with the new chipset. Will you buy a smartphone with the new 5G chipset next year?
