Darren Seward, head of West Coast Mobile, will leave the dealership at the end of this month.

In a post on LinkedIn, he wrote: "I will leave the West Coast at the end of this month in nearly 11 years. I would like to thank all my customers, suppliers, suppliers and colleagues / friends on the West Coast for their support during this period. It's a good thing to help the West Coast become a reliable participant in mobile. No matter what happens, I look forward to my next challenge."

After nine years at Ingram Micro, Seward joined Reading-based West Coast as a non-Hewlett-Packard client equipment business manager in 2009, where he was promoted to general manager of software and mobile.

In 2016, he became head of mobile business, helping to develop relationships with Huawei, Apple, Samsung and Bullitt Group, and managing West Coast value-added mobile services such as SOTI, Lightspeed and MendIT.

Seward and West Coast management declined to comment on Mobile News. The latter learned that mobile business on the west coast declined during the lock-up period.
