Can I turn off and delete the new developments of Wechat friends? How to cancel the new news of my friend?

The new news of Wechat friends is a new function introduced in the moments, which is not necessary for some users, and it is a nuisance to the eyes, so how can the new developments of friends be turned off? How to cancel and delete the new developments of Wechat friends? Let's get to know it.

How do I turn off my friend's new news?

This is a new feature tested after the new version 7.0.3. It adds [New Trends of Friends] at the top of the moments. If a friend posts something, a button appears here, and you can click in to see the dynamic video posted by your friend.

[video dynamic] is released through the shooting button in the upper right corner of the "I" interface, it can exist for 24 hours, and only friends can view it, and you can shoot short videos within 15 seconds. It seems that this function is supposed to fight against short video platforms such as Douyin, but it is still very limited, for example, you can only watch it once, you can only like it if you can't comment, and it also affects the ecology of the originally clean moments. The column above is very sudden.

At present, this function cannot be turned off for the time being, and this column will disappear temporarily after everyone clicks in to watch all the videos posted by their friends. In addition, you can turn off the function of moments by setting up-Discovery Page Management-moments, so you don't have to worry about it if you don't use it.
