Monoprice has just released a new Dark Matter-branded display for gamers, which can be bought in the United States today for $399.99. The latest Dark Matter display features a 32-inch 2560 x 1440 (QHD) IPS panel and a low profile design with a thin display frame around it. Of course, we'd like to see if it can join the ranks of the best game monitors.

The Dark Matter 32-inch provides a relatively fast 165Hz refresh rate for PC gamers, while Xbox Series X / S and PlayStation 5 gamers can see up to 120 Hz refresh rates through HDMI 2.0 connections. In addition, Monoprice says the monitor supports adaptive synchronization technology to help reduce screen tearing during games. We can imagine that in this case, the company has adopted some form of AMD FreeSync (although unfortunately, it is not specified).
