Cook will make small adjustments to Apple's supply chain (Apple granted Tim Cook a temporary ban on stalkers)
Apple has won a temporary restraining order against a man suspected of stalking and harassing CEO Tim Cook and other company executives.
Lakesh "Loki" Sharma began calling Apple executives and left a "disturbing" voicemail, according to court documents found by OneZero's Dave Gershgorn. The incident escalated in December when Sharma invaded Cook's property in Palo Alto in an attempt to deliver flowers and a bottle of champagne by hand, according to court documents. Sharma is said to have "passed through the closed gate without permission". In January, he broke in for the second time in the same way and rang Cook's doorbell.
Palo Alto did not arrest Sharma because Sharma had left the property before they arrived.
Sharma is said to have threatened to use violence against Apple executives. They said, "I don't use ammunition, but I know someone uses it."
Apple didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. It is not clear whether Sharma hired a lawyer when the article was published.
Sharma was ordered to stay away from the company's headquarters, Cook, his property and other Apple executives, NBC News reported. The ban is valid until March 3, the same day the hearing in the case is planned.
