Can you imagine a larger Samsung Galaxy Z Fold smartphone with a sliding keyboard? Well, if it sounds attractive, you'll be happy to know that it might come true. Samsung has applied for a patent for such a device.

The device has two folding points on the display, not one. So, in essence, it is a 30% mobile phone. But that's not all. On the one hand, the phone is equipped with a sliding keyboard.

That's not your regular QWERTY keyboard with physical buttons. Although it is a mature keyboard, it has numeric keys. These numeric keys seem to be placed on sliding metal or glass.

The design patent was found in KIPO (Korea intellectual property Office). It provides eight product sketches, and Letsgodigital worked with Sarangshheth to create the rendering you saw in this article.

Letsgodigital actually calls the device Galaxy Z Fold3, although there is no evidence that it will become Z Fold3. If the device becomes a reality, it may launch a phone that is completely different from its lineup.

This is not the first Samsung smartphone design with a display folded in two different locations. So far, the company has released several of them. However, this is one of the most interesting ways.

It remains to be seen whether the phone will become a reality, but it will be interesting to see it in real life. This could become a true productivity beast. On the other hand, it can be cumbersome to use as an ordinary mobile phone. We'll see what happens, but don't be hopeful.
