You must be at least 13 years of age to get a flyer ID and pass the 20 multiple choice test. With a passing score of 16, you can repeat the test for 20 minutes as needed. The operator's annual fee is at least 18 pounds and 9 pounds annually. Failure to register may result in a fine of 1000 yuan.

If you don't, you may run the risk of a fine of 1000 pounds.

According to news reports, while registration is easy, CAA says that so far, less than half of the estimated 130000 drones in the UK have registered details.

As before, drones weighing more than 250 grams need to be registered. If you are absolutely sure not to give CAA £9, it will exempt the recently announced 249g of DJI Mavic Mini from tax.
