Apple releases iOS 9.2.1 and OS X 10.11.3 beta
This week, Apple released the first developer beta version of the latest iOS 9.2.1 and OS X 10.11.3 EI Capitan.
First of all, the first beta version of the new iOS 9.2.1 is 13D11, and as usual, Apple warned developers not to downgrade to the previous version after upgrading iOS 9.2.1. Registered developers can visit the Apple developer Center website or check the upgrade reminder in the settings of the iOS system.
It is reported that the iOS 9.2.1 update basically does not change much, mainly bug fixes and security updates, while Apple usually adds major new features to systems with larger version changes.
The first beta of iOS 9.2.1 comes a week after Apple officially released iOS 9.2.2.In iOS 9.2, Apple brought a large number of updates on Apple Music, news, email, iBooks, as well as support for SD card readers with the Lightning interface.
In addition to iOS 9.2.1, Apple also released the first developer beta version of OS X 10.11.3 EI Capitan, version number 15D9c, and no specific list of new features, basically focusing on stability, compatibility and security updates. In general, a more detailed list of updates and key functional tests will arrive in the second beta.
Last week, Apple released the official version of OS X 10.11.2, which improved the reliability of Wi-Fi as well as Handoff and AirDrop, and fixed email errors and Live Photos iCloud photo sharing. At the same time, some minor usability problems, errors, and security flaws have been fixed.
