The Pwn20wnd team released unc0ver v4.0.0 on Feb. 16, which enables jailbreak on A12~A13 processor iOS 13 devices. Now the Unc0ver jailbreak tool has been upgraded to v4.2.1 to support devices with A8 to A1 chips.

In other words, the tool already supports iPhone 6S, iPhone XS series, iPhone XR, iPhone 11 series, and cash iPad Pro/iPad Air/iPad mini jailbreak.

In addition, the update also provides a large number of bug fixes and other features, such as unnotified iMessage messages.

Unc0ver is not the first tool to support jailbreaking for devices with these processors. Checkra1n also supports jailbreaking from iPhone 6s to iPhone X based on iOS 13, but Checkra1n requires computer jailbreak, and Unc0ver can be done independently on iPhone.
