Apple Announces list of supported models for RAW format cameras added to OS X
for professional photographers, using RAW format in the shooting process can be said to be a standard operating procedure. For those less professional photographers, taking pictures in RAW format can get images that are not compressed and filtered because it does not use the camera's image processing engine.
the end result of using the RAW format is that the photographer has more control in post-processing. Normally, photographers use third-party apps such as Adobe Lightroom to edit RAW photos, but now Apple has released an update to RAW compatibility for OS X DSLR cameras.
It is understood that this update is called RAW compatibility upgrade 6.20 for digital cameras, and its size is 8.1MB, which can be downloaded from Apple's support page. Users who do not have an editing program such as Adobe Lightroom can also edit pictures in RAW format on the OS X system.
