The search giant is stopping selling the Pixel 2 series. This doesn't mean that second-generation Pixel 2 smartphones don't sell well or perform poorly in the mobile market. It's time to give way to pixel 3 and pixel 3 XL. Even after the launch of Pixel 3, Google still offers Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL through different mobile operators. Some people have decided to stop completely like Verizon. Some people still like Pixel 2, mainly because of discounts and great value.

Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are not fully aging. Both can still run the latest Android Q, but like any brand or original device manufacturer, the main focus will be on newer models.

The last time we recommended Pixel 2 was when its Google camera got tracking autofocus and motion photometry. Right after our report, these phones will also have a "call screen" function in the latest update.

If you visit the Pixel 2 product page on Google, you will be redirected to the Pixel 3 page. Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL phones are gone, but let's assume you can still buy them from other sellers and retail stores.

Amazon and Best Buy still list Android smartphones here and here. The price is now below $400, which is good news.

This Pixel 2 has always been a great device, especially in mobile photography. Over the past year, it has achieved some important enhancements, including automatic color mode, the use of Alexa as the default voice assistant option, expanded Pixel 2 Preferred Care coverage, Google's do not Disturb feature, phone jet lag repair and smart battery features.

In addition to Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, it is believed that Google will also launch new Pixel phones. We have already mentioned pixels 3a and 3a XL because several images appear on the Internet.
